As we come to the end of another busy year at it’seeze, we look back and we’re delighted to say that it’s been a success — even if we do say so ourselves!
From new business developments and new franchisees joining the it’seeze family to updates to our packages, streamlining our processes and introducing the it’seeze Academy, we take you through a year in review at it’seeze 2022.

January

In January this year, we hit the ground running with the launch of our Quick Quote button (top right hand side of this page), helping our site visitors to quickly gain a better understanding of our website packages and pricing. We published articles offering 10 More Blog Post Ideas, Tips for Working from Home and advice on How to Increase Your Business Productivity.

February

The following month saw another new launch and an update to our pricing guide. We want to help our customers manage their budgets better during difficult financial pressures, so we changed some of our paid extras into free-of-charge extras, like the carousel feature.

We also launched our new it’seeze Academy for our franchisees and their staff. It provides a central location where they can find and access our training materials, plus loads of extra information to help them run their companies successfully. In the spirit of Valentines, we partnered with #LoveFranchising for the month of February and we published blogs on: Creating the Perfect Tagline for Your Business, Your Business Strategy Sorted: How To Plan Ahead and Networking For Your Small Business: The Dos and Don’ts

March

As well as welcoming a new website designer, Tom, to the it’seeze headquarters family, we also welcome our new franchisee for Sheffield, Rob Walton. Rob started training with us on 28th March and is now in his first year running his it’seeze franchise.

Also, this month, we started to look into developing our Payl8r scheme, which we can integrate into our customers’ e-commerce shop websites to enhance their offering and payment options.

March's blogs offered advice on: Branding 101: The Basics, How to Dust Away Your Digital Clutter and 6 Digital Careers To Consider When Starting A Small Business From Home. Finally in March, we began our As Unique as Your Business campaign, where we used our customer quotes from Trustpilot to demonstrate how every website we create is completely unique and never from templates/themes.

April

In April we launched our new social templates and photography services at head office, available for all our franchisees to use. We welcomed Emily, who joined it’seeze’s head office as our SEO executive. Also in April we got round to some Spring cleaning with: Is it Time to Refresh My Website and a blog on: Owning a Small Business Vs. Owning a Franchise

May

May was a particularly busy month at it’seeze. Sophie, our HR manager, sadly left for pastures new, joining Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue. Kelly from the finance department also left us for a new adventure. However, Rebecca joined us, taking over the finance part of Sophie's role. We also welcomed Carole to our Finance team at the end of May.

We launched our ‘Win a Website’ competition, which was very successful. We also started the process of switching our customers’ websites over from UA (Universal Analytics) to Google’s new GA4 (Google Analytics 4). This will allow us and our customers to build historical data and usage on their website in the new format. In May, Emily published her first blog: What Does Franchising Mean to Generation Z?

June

As we headed into summer, we were delighted to welcome a new staff member at it’seeze head office, Karen joined us to take on the People Manager role. In the month that saw the return of Wimbledon & Glastonbury, we celebrated with the rest of the country for the Queen's Jubilee Celebrations and in our monthly blog we discussed the merits of Google Analytics 4

July

As well as our ongoing work in optimising regional sites, we also created a social media playbook to support our franchisees. This helps them by providing a range of ideas that enable them to produce regular online content to promote their businesses.

We also introduced a new offer for customers, a July Re-design. We offered any Plus, Max or Shop customer the opportunity to enjoy a fresh re-design of their 3-year-old (or more) website.

August

As the nation baked in soaring summer temperatures, we also turned up the heat at it’seeze with a raft of new and reintroduced initiatives. We created and ran a successful LinkedIn campaign, our Website Enquiries Recipe Guide, designed to increase it’seeze brand awareness.

We also created a Shop Features page, which describes every feature incorporated into our eCommerce website page in detail.

We kicked off our SEO blog series, with the publication of: 10 Tips for SEO Success and our franchise site published: How to pick a franchise that’s recession-proof

September

We were all very sad to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and many of our websites entered a period of mourning, displaying a single overlay page marking our respects.

After nine amazing years with it’seeze, we were very sorry to see Ceri leave us for a new role. However, we’re delighted to tell you that Lee, who was in our Support Team, has moved across to our Code Team.

The final good news for this month is that we successfully completed the transfer of all our websites from UA to GA4!

October

As we headed into autumn, we had a busy October, which started with a walk for World Mental Health Day, which we all thoroughly enjoyed getting out in the sunshine and are all looking forward to repeating in 2023.

We launched a new style of national portfolio on our national website and offered a faster loading version for our franchisee websites. We also launch a new advertising campaign about our local and national support. In October we offered practical advice through our blogs on: Which Web Design Package is Right For You and Meet the It’seeze Franchise Network.

November

As we close out the year – well, almost – November also proved a busy month.

We also welcomed a new franchisee in it’seeze Leeds, the family members of it'seeze Hull which is fantastic. We have lots of other territories across the UK in need of an it'seeze franchisee, please get in touch if you’re interested in joining us as a franchisee

We also rolled out our monthly Wellbeing Walk, following the success of our walk on World Mental Health Day. We also enjoyed our annual conference at the end of November with the it'seeze franchisees and guest speakers.

On top of all this, we’re delighted to report that we have hit a major Trustpilot milestone with +900 reviews – we’re targeting 1,000 in the new year!

December

As we head towards the end of 2022, and while working on trialling our new optimised aftercare service, we look back on a very busy but hugely successful year at it'seeze. We celebrated with a Christmas Staff Party.
