 The ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated, organised, and a team player with the following skills:  

Significant PHP experience, including PHP 7.3 and modern practices such as namespaces and type declarations 
Solid understanding of JavaScript, including ECMAScript 2018 and modern practices such as generators and promises 
Strong knowledge of CSS, including modern practices such as flexbox and grid layouts 
Basic Unix command-line experience 
Basic Git experience 
Understanding of browser compatibility issues 
Understanding of usability issues 
Understanding of website performance issues 
Experience of PHP testing using PHPUnit 
Significant PHP experience, including PHP 7.3 and modern practices such as namespaces and type declarations

 The following skills are desired, but not essential:  

Experience of JavaScript testing 
Advanced Unix knowledge/DevOps experience 
Experience of the Twig templating system 
Experience of Yii2 PHP framework 
Understanding of SEO issues 
Basic Vagrant experience
