Digital Marketing Manager  (Full Time). 

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, driven, and enthusiastic individual with proven marketing experience to join the friendly, dynamic team at it’seeze. 
 
We are a national web design franchise company based in Torquay, Devon, and we’re now looking for a hands-on digital marketing manager to lead our in-house marketing team and take responsibility for digital engagement across our two brands. 

About the role 

The successful candidate will take the lead on creating and implementing powerful marketing strategies, promoting our national brands, building strong relationships with our target audiences, and increasing our brand awareness. 
 
You’ll work closely with our SEO copywriter and social media executive, as well as our design and development teams, to drive all aspects of our marketing forwards and increase ROI across multiple channels. 
 

Main Responsibilities 

Developing and managing national marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads 
Continuously evaluating and improving all strategies in line with the marketing objectives of each brand 
Controlling the brand assets and guidelines for all aspects of the business and ensuring marketing collateral is consistent 
Managing the marketing department and delegating tasks to both the marketing and design teams 
Ensuring quality content is being produced and shared across various social media channels to increase brand exposure 
Overseeing the creation of sales and marketing materials such as brochures, blog posts, case studies, landing pages, presentations, and whitepapers 
Managing the marketing budget and allocating funds where required 
Liaising with the franchise network regarding local marketing activities 
Managing internal communications between the marketing department and external suppliers 
Reporting to the board of directors on the latest KPIs, marketing strategies, and results 
 

About you 

We are seeking a conscientious, organised, and highly motivated individual with a real passion for all aspects of digital marketing, as will be evidenced by your experience. 
 
You’ll be a team player with a collaborative management style; someone who is able to multitask with ease and manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment. You’ll enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, and will possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills as well as excellent technical marketing knowledge. 
Essential skills and experience: 
Relevant marketing qualification or degree 
B2B marketing experience 
Broad digital marketing knowledge and experience including SEO, search advertising, display advertising, email marketing, and social media 
Experience of developing and implementing brand strategies and marketing campaigns 
Analytical approach with experience of data analysis and A/B testing 
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools – i.e. Google Analytics 
Project management experience 
Firm understanding of the GDPR and its implications when applied to marketing 
Confident in liaising with multiple departments, franchisees, and third-party companies 
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 
Strong problem-solving skills 
Confident in requesting and managing budgets 
Approachable and open to new ideas - able to quickly identify viable opportunities and explain the rationale where suggestions are unsuitable 
Experience carrying out administrative marketing responsibilities 
Well-informed of the latest trends and best practices in online marketing 
Desired but not required: 
Experience of both local and national marketing 
Traditional marketing experience – i.e. print and TV 
Knowledge/experience of franchising models 
Experience either in a web design agency environment or of creating your own website 
Presentation skills – in person and virtually 
Strong grasp of current marketing tools 
Experience of managing a team 
 

About this vacancy 

This is a full-time role based at our national Head Office in Torquay. Salary will be dependent on experience. 
 
Working hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. 
 
You’ll be joining our experienced team in a contemporary working environment, with an open plan office and convenient location.
