We regularly update our easy to use website editor with innovative new developments, helping to improve the editability of our websites and enhance the online presence of every business we work with.
Take a look at a handful of our favourite new features from the last few months:
Stock image search
The importance of adding professional photography to your website cannot be overstated, but it can be tricky to know where to look if you don’t have the budget to hire a photographer or use premium stock images.
We’ve made it easier than ever for you to keep your website looking great whilst staying on the right side of the law, by letting you search for free stock images directly through your site.
With our brand new stock image search feature, it’seeze clients can access Pixabay’s extensive library of stock photos. These are professional images which are all free to use, with no attribution required.
Date picker
We recently introduced a new booking option for website forms, allowing visitors to easily and accurately select the date(s) they want to book an appointment, a reservation, a holiday, a delivery, and more.
Dates are displayed in a pop-up calendar, making it more convenient than ever for your customers to choose when they want to schedule your services.
In this way, the new date picker option helps to enhance the overall usability of your contact forms, improving the visitor experience on your website.
Image styling options
Earlier in the year we added several new image editing options, and we’ve now taken this one step further with new styling options for website images.
Using these new options, you can change the way that background images appear on your website.
When you add a new background image section, you can now choose different background styles so that your full-width images create various effects as your website visitors move down the page.
The different styles are as follows:
Scroll – the background image moves with the rest of the content on the page
Parallax – the background image scrolls at a slower speed to the page, creating a 3D effect
Fixed – the background image stays completely still as the page content moves over it
Website buttons
We’re always looking for ways to improve our website editor, and we’re pleased to say that we’ve done so by introducing a new option for creating buttons recently.
With the new button component, you can easily add a button to your page to encourage visitors to click through to other areas of your site.
The button will automatically match the appearance of other buttons on your site, making it quick and simple for you to add new call to actions anywhere on your website.
Using this new option, you can change the button text, alignment, and page that it links to.
Basket pop-up
Our ecommerce website offering, the it’seeze Shop package, is constantly being developed to help our clients to manage their online store more effectively and sell more of their products.
A new feature that we’ve added to Shop websites in the last couple of months is the ‘added to basket’ pop-up menu.
This is displayed when a customer adds a product to their basket, and gives them the option to either continue shopping or go straight to their basket.
This creates a more seamless shopping experience for your customers, and is particularly convenient for anyone buying multiple items from a specific product category, as they can now stay on this page whilst adding all the products to their basket.
This new feature should also help to encourage additional purchases, as customers who choose to continue shopping are likely to buy more products as they browse.
