Website designers at it'seeze
As 2025 draws to a close, our design team has been taking a moment to look back on the year; the projects that challenged us, inspired us, and made us proud. It’s been a year of creativity, collaboration, and dedication to shaping our clients’ visions into beautifully crafted websites. At it’seeze, every website we create is more than just a set of pages; it’s a bespoke solution, designed with care, personality, and purpose. There are no templates, no shortcuts, just real people crafting custom websites that truly reflect each business we work with.
This blog is our way of celebrating those standout projects and giving our designers a chance to share what made them special. From small business websites to ambitious e-commerce redesigns, these are the projects that lit up our year; the ones that pushed our creativity, honed our skills, and delivered tangible results for our clients.
At it’seeze, we believe that great design is about more than just looking good; it’s about creating websites that perform, engage, and grow businesses. That’s why each project is approached with a personalised mindset, blending intuitive user experience, thoughtful branding, and responsive design to deliver a website that’s as functional as it is beautiful.
In this roundup, you’ll hear directly from our talented web design team about their favourite projects of 2025, why these projects stood out, and the moments that made them proud. It’s a celebration of bespoke website design, expert craftsmanship, and the results that make all the hard work worthwhile, because at it’seeze, we don’t just design websites; we design solutions that make a real difference.

Our Web Designers’ Favourite Projects of 2025

Behind every it’seeze website is a real designer bringing creativity, expertise, and personality to the project. Our talented team share the projects they loved most in 2025; the sites that challenged them, inspired them, and left them proud. From bespoke layouts and responsive designs to thoughtful branding and UX solutions, these projects showcase the care and craftsmanship that goes into every custom website we create.

Becca Jones

Becca recently completed a website for A Hotel Designer, a project she’s particularly proud of. The design combines a modern, dynamic aesthetic with a sense of calm and sophistication. Overlapping image sections create a layered, engaging feel that draws visitors in, while a soft pastel colour palette ensures the overall look remains welcoming and approachable. Bold, large headings provide visual anchors throughout the site, guiding users naturally from one section to the next.
High-quality, striking imagery plays a central role in bringing the design to life, perfectly complementing the clean layout and creating a fresh, contemporary impression. The site balances creativity with usability, making it not just visually appealing but also highly functional; a true example of bespoke web design tailored to a client’s brand and personality.

Becca says:
"This project was such a joy to work on because it allowed me to experiment with layered layouts and colour in a way that feels modern but still approachable. Seeing the final design come together; the balance of imagery, typography, and subtle colour, was incredibly rewarding, and I’m really proud of how it reflects the client’s vision while giving users a memorable browsing experience."

Tom Rodda

Tom’s standout project this year is the newly launched website for Custom Carpentry Construction. He wanted the design to reflect the precision and craftsmanship of the company’s products, so he opted for clean, straight edges and a grid-based image layout that conveys order and quality. A subtle, natural colour palette; whites, wood tones, and a bright gold for call-to-actions, mirrors the materials used in the client’s work while keeping the overall look fresh and approachable.
To add depth and visual interest, Tom incorporated splashes of wood textures as both background elements and occasional graphics throughout the site. These touches help break up the white space and tie the design back to the client’s craft, creating a cohesive, visually engaging experience. The result is a website that is both bespoke and functional, with a contemporary feel that accurately represents the client’s brand.

Tom says:
"I really enjoyed designing this site because it allowed me to translate the quality and precision of the client’s work into the layout and visuals. Balancing clean structure with subtle textures was the perfect challenge, and I’m proud of how it all came together to create a site that’s both visually striking and practical for users."
"I’m also proud of creating the it’seeze design system this year, which helps keep branding and layouts consistent across all our websites."

Samantha Scott

Sam’s favourite project this year was the elegant new website for Bennett Jewellers, a local family-run jewellers who felt their previous site had become dated, impersonal, and difficult for customers to navigate. Their vision was clear: a classy, subtle design with a heritage feel, something traditional and vintage rather than modern or overly “blingy.”
To bring this to life, Sam created a clean, intuitive layout with simple, elegant navigation that makes browsing effortless. The bespoke design uses the client’s chosen burgundy and gold palette to establish a timeless, refined aesthetic that reflects the character, craftsmanship, and legacy behind the business. Thoughtful spacing, gentle contrasts, and understated styling all work together to create a custom website solution that feels both luxurious and welcoming.

Sam says:
"I loved working on this project because it was all about capturing the heritage and personality of the business. Creating something elegant and understated; something that felt special without relying on flashy elements, was incredibly rewarding. Seeing how the refined layout and colour palette came together to reflect their story was a real highlight for me."
“Outside of it’seeze, my proudest moments this year were having two of my paintings recognised on the extended longlist for the Jackson’s Art Prize and performing live on a small stage at Glastonbury, two bucket-list dreams achieved!"

Barry Muir

Barry’s favourite recent project is the clean, modern website he designed for Albion Consulting Engineers. The client shared a set of brochures they had created previously, giving Barry a starting point for the visual identity. Using these as inspiration, he developed a refined, cohesive design that brings the brand to life online while keeping the overall experience simple, clear, and user-focused.
The site features subtle movement, carefully selected brand colours, and a well-structured layout that guides visitors through the content without ever feeling cluttered. To add depth and visual interest, Barry incorporated a mix of high-quality stock imagery (some recommended by the client and others chosen to enhance the design), using many of them as background elements to create contrast and variety.
The result is a bespoke web design that feels modern, engaging, and professional, while still remaining true to the company’s established branding. With its clear navigation, thoughtful spacing, and consistent visual language, the website offers a seamless user experience that reflects the precision and expertise of the engineering firm.

Barry says:
"I really enjoyed taking the basic branding elements from the brochures and expanding them into a full digital experience. Bringing in subtle movement, structured layouts, and supporting imagery gave the site a modern, polished feel. I’m proud of how everything ties together to create a clean and engaging journey for users."

Naïs Álvarez Cardoso

Naïs’s featured project is the beautifully balanced and naturally elegant website she designed for Angels Nannies. From the moment you land on the homepage, the site feels calm, modern, and effortlessly refined. The clean, text-based logo sets the tone straight away; stylish without being showy, and helps give the entire site a smart, contemporary character.
The soft, soothing colour palette creates an immediate sense of comfort and trust, perfectly suited to a family-focused service. Carefully curated imagery adds warmth and authenticity, feeling personal and genuine rather than generic or overly staged. This consistency across visuals, colours, and layout gives the site a cohesive, welcoming atmosphere that gently guides visitors through the content.
The end result is a modern, thoughtful, and intuitively designed website that reflects the care, professionalism, and compassion at the heart of Angels Nannies. Everything feels intentionally placed and beautifully put-together, a design that simply works.

Jodie Cook

Jodie’s standout project of the year is the vibrant, high-energy website she created for Let’s Play Hull. From the outset, this design gave her the creative freedom to really lean into bold colour, playful styling, and eye-catching features that wouldn’t suit a more corporate site, and she made the most of it.
With strong, lively branding to build from, Jodie crafted a layout that feels imaginative, expressive, and full of personality. The bright palette, dynamic elements, and fun visual touches all work together to create a website that truly reflects the spirit of the organisation. It’s engaging, joyful, and instantly memorable; the kind of design that invites you in and makes you want to explore.

Reflections from it'seeze Design Manager: Steve Vosper

"As you can see from this small selection of our busy year at it’seeze, our designers have created some truly unique websites that perfectly meet our customers’ needs.
At it’seeze, we never use templates; every design is fully bespoke, tailored to the client, their business, and the needs of their users. From minimalist, grid-based layouts to organic shapes and bold, expressive colour schemes, our designers can do it all. The wonderfully diverse range of businesses we work with ensures every project is interesting, challenging, and inspiring.
Looking ahead to 2026, I think websites will feel even more organic, with less reliance on strict grids and more free-flowing, intuitive layouts. Colour is making a strong comeback too, so expect to see bolder, more expressive schemes in our upcoming projects.
At it’seeze, our sites will also be faster, easier to edit, and more user-friendly than ever, thanks to the latest technologies we’re implementing. The team is raring to go and excited to dive into some fantastic new projects in the year ahead."
