We are a national web design franchise based in Torquay, Devon. We’re looking for a skilled Optimisation Executive to join our fast-growing team and work across our SEO customers and franchise partners, driving online engagement through effective keyword optimisation, captivating copy, images and video.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising and creating engaging content for it'seeze customers and franchisee partners, ultimately improving website performance, growing organic traffic and increasing customer conversions and enquiries.
You'll work closely with our Digital Marketing Manager, fellow SEO Executive and Social Media Executive, and our design and development teams to produce results-driven content marketing campaigns and support our broader business objectives.
Main responsibilities
Producing all written marketing content, including website copy, blog posts, newsletters, print copy, guides, whitepapers, and online ad copy
Performing ongoing keyword research, search analysis, and competitor research to create and implement effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies
Providing training on SEO and blogging for new franchise partners
Keeping up to date with the latest SEO trends, ranking factors, and algorithm updates
Editing and proofreading all internal and external communications as required
Track and report on crucial SEO metrics in terms of performance and company goals
About you
We seek an enthusiastic, creative individual passionate about producing compelling content that brings ideas to life and tells a story on every page. You’ll be analytical, too, with a talent for spotting SEO opportunities and weaving keywords seamlessly into your copy.
It would be best if you were someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team but is also self-motivated, organised, and able to work to deadlines.

Skills and experience
Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably B2B
Knowledge and experience with CMSs
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
An understanding of user journeys and website layouts
Ability to create engaging content in a variety of styles and voices
Solid understanding of search engine optimisation
Excellent knowledge of SEO tools, including Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Strong research skills
Ability to understand technical explanations and translate them into relatable language
Excellent time-management skills
Experience planning and organising content calendars
Strong verbal communication skills
An interest in digital and search marketing trends
About this vacancy
This is a full-time role with a hybrid working schedule, with the working week currently split into three days based at our national Head Office in Torquay and two days of remote work. Salary will be dependent on experience.
Working hours are 9 am-5 pm, Monday to Friday.
